to the internet home of SOUL, a new musical.
Crafted by Vincent Chelkowski and Sean Michael O’Donnell, SOUL is the
retelling of two famous Greek myths.
One is the romantic tale of Cupid, God of Love, and Psyche, a
beautiful but mortal princess. When
Cupid’s mother Aphrodite learns to hate Psyche, the trouble begins as the
star-crossed lovers long to be together.
The other story woven into the fabric of SOUL is the sad tale of
Demeter and her lost daughter Persephone. |

While
on another menial errand, Persephone finally finds adventure, a new world,
and a surprising love interest, all while her worrisome mother, Demeter,
fears her gone forever! Full of
laughter and tears, work on SOUL has come to completion. We will be posting recordings of the music
as they are made available, plot synopses, script excerpts, and more! The first song ever completed for SOUL,
“Longing,” which recounts Cupid’s desire for Psyche, his forbidden love
interest, was performed at a musical revue performance in the writers’
hometown of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
